Account and Security

Use Security to change your own password and optionally configure two-factor authentication.

Change Your Password

1. Enter your current password.
2. Create a new password containing at least 10 characters.
3. Repeat the new password.
4. Click Change password.

Other active sessions are ended. If an administrator created a temporary password for you, changing it is required before you can continue.

Forgotten Password

1. Click Forgot password? on the sign-in page.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Open the message from TBTGuest and follow the link within one hour.
4. Create a new password.

For security, the application does not reveal whether an account exists for the entered address.

Configure Two-Factor Authentication

1. Open Security.
2. Enter your current password for confirmation.
3. Click Set up 2FA.
4. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app.
5. Enter and confirm the displayed six-digit code.
6. Store the displayed backup codes in a secure location.

Future sign-ins require an authenticator code in addition to your password. If your device is unavailable, you can use a backup code once.

Backup codes

Backup codes are displayed during setup. Save them immediately outside TBTGuest, for example in a password manager.

Disable Two-Factor Authentication

Open Security, enter your password and click Disable 2FA.
